Bad Magick: The Best of Shooter Jennings and the 357's

Now, I'm not a huge country music fan, but I had heard and read good things about Shooter Jennings, the son of the late Waylon Jennings.

Well, first I hit iTunes and downloaded the highest rated song, "4th of July." It was good, so what did I do? Headed to the Exclusive Co. and found this gem. It's a greatest hits compilation, but from my understanding they've only put out two studio albums and a live set. But either way, it's worth the eleven bucks I threw down. Some of the songs are straight country, most are a good southern rock, there's a few live tracks and an amazing cover of "Walk of Life."

The Songs tell some good stories of time on the road, time in jail, listening to his dad and Johnny Cash, some guest apperances by George Jones (4th of July), The Oadridge Boys (Slow Train), and Doug "The Ragin' Cajun" Kershaw (This Ol Wheel).

My top tracks would probably have to be, in track order: 4th of July, Southern Comfort, Walk of Life, and Busted in Baylor County. But I'd recomend the entire album.
